Typically 400–800 hours on abrasive feed. The direct-drive MC series delivers consistent power — liner wear is usually uniform when the feed is properly distributed. Monitor product gradation: when fines percentage drops noticeably, liners are worn.

What liner profile should I choose for C&D recycling?

Medium-coarse or coarse profile. Recycling material contains rebar and tramp metal — a coarser profile provides more clearance and reduces the risk of damage from uncrushable objects passing through the chamber.

Direct drive vs. belt drive — does it affect wear part choice?

Direct drive (MC series) delivers higher torque at lower RPM. This means slightly higher crushing forces on each revolution. Mn21Cr2Mo is recommended if you're crushing hard rock with an MC series — the molybdenum addition improves yield strength under sustained load.
