Wear parts

Fixed Jaw Plate — Stationary crushing surface. Available in multiple material grades.

Movable Jaw Plate — Reciprocating crushing surface. Matched to fixed jaw profile.

Upper Cheek Plate — Frame protection above the crushing chamber.

Lower Cheek Plate — Frame protection below the crushing chamber.

Mechanical components

Flywheel — Stores kinetic energy. Grooved for V-belts.

Counterweight — Dynamic balance. Reduces vibration.

Pulley — Drive-side pulley. Matched to flywheel groove profile.

Pitman — Main moving component. Transfers eccentric shaft motion to the movable jaw.

Mn21Cr2 — Maximum Mn content. Extreme abrasion resistance. Heavy impact.

Mn21Cr2Mo — Molybdenum addition. Combined impact and abrasion resistance.

XT510 / XT520 — Alloy steels. Medium to high abrasion. Balanced cost/life.

XT610 / XT710 / XT720 — Premium alloys. Severe conditions. Extended service intervals.

M1 / M2 / M5 / M7 / M9 — Standard grade progression. Increasing wear resistance from M1 (general) to M9 (extreme).

About the Sandvik CJ Series

Primary jaw crushers. Deep symmetrical crushing chamber. Large feed opening. Nip angle 16-23 degrees for efficient material flow. Reduction ratio 1:2 to 1:3 depending on feed characteristics.
