Metso SUPERIOR Gyratory crusher parts
Replacement Parts for Metso SUPERIOR Gyratory Crushers
Replacement parts for Metso SUPERIOR Gyratory Crushers, manufactured to original specifications:
Mantle and Concave
The Mantle and Concave are the primary wear components responsible for the crushing action in gyratory crushers. The Mantle, mounted on the main shaft, gyrates against the stationary Concave to reduce raw material. Both parts are manufactured from wear-resistant alloys or manganese steel. Precision-engineered profiles optimize particle size distribution and throughput. Regular replacement maintains crushing efficiency and protects downstream equipment from uneven wear.
Upper and Lower Dust Retainers
The Upper Dust Retainer and Lower Dust Retainer prevent dust, fines, and debris from entering the crusher's internal mechanisms. By maintaining a clean internal environment, these retainers reduce wear on moving parts, minimize maintenance, and extend the overall lifespan of the crusher. They are constructed from materials suited to harsh operating conditions.
Gear and Pinion
The Gear and Pinion form the core of the crusher's drive system, transmitting power to generate the gyratory motion. Precision-machined from hardened alloys, they provide smooth engagement, reduced vibration, and torque transfer. Gears undergo heat treatment and grinding processes for dimensional accuracy and fatigue resistance, aligning with OEM performance standards.
Spider Arm Shield and Liners
The Spider Arm Shield, Narrow Arm Liner, and Pinion Arm Liner protect the spider assembly from abrasion, impact, and wear caused by the crushing process. These components are manufactured from wear-resistant materials. The Spider Arm Shield provides a protective barrier, while the liners reduce the risk of damage to the spider arms.
Locking Pin Alloy
The Locking Pin Alloy maintains the alignment and stability of the crusher's main shaft. Made from high-grade alloys, it handles extreme loads and stresses, reducing the risk of misalignment or failure during operation.
Main Shaft Step and Sleeve
The Main Shaft Step and Main Shaft Sleeve are integral to the main shaft. The Main Shaft Step positions the shaft, while the Main Shaft Sleeve provides a smooth surface for rotation, reducing friction and wear. These components are manufactured to exact tolerances.
Eccentric Components
Our range of eccentric components includes the Eccentric, Eccentric Wear Plate, and Eccentric Bushing. These parts enable the gyratory motion of the crusher. The Eccentric Wear Plate protects the eccentric from abrasion, while the Eccentric Bushing reduces friction.
Spider Cap and Bushings
The Spider Cap, Lower MPS Cylinder Bushing, and Spider Bushing protect the spider assembly. The Spider Cap provides a protective cover, while the bushings reduce friction and wear between moving parts. These components are manufactured from high-strength materials.
Head Nut Outer and Nut Lock
The Head Nut Outer and Nut Lock secure the main shaft and maintain crusher stability. These components handle high torque and heavy loads. The Nut Lock prevents loosening during operation.
Piston Wearing Plate
The Piston Wearing Plate is part of the crusher's hydraulic system. It protects the piston from wear, reduces friction, and extends hydraulic system life. Made from wear-resistant materials.
Bottom Shell Bushing and Top Shell
The Bottom Shell Bushing and Top Shell are critical for structural integrity and operation. The Bottom Shell Bushing provides support and reduces wear on the lower part of the crusher, while the Top Shell protects the internal components.
Parts manufactured to original Metso specifications. Mantles and concaves cast in manganese steel — work-hardens to 500+ HB. Gears are 20CrMnTi carburized, HRC 58–62 surface hardness.
