Wear parts
Mantle — Mn18Cr2, Mn21Cr2. Standard, medium, and short-head profiles. The moving crushing surface. Tapered fit on the head.
Bowl Liner — Mn18Cr2, Mn21Cr2. Matching profiles to mantle. Secured by the clamp ring.
Bushings & liners
Eccentric Bushing — Lead bronze (C93800). Pressed into the eccentric. Inner surface contacts the mainshaft. Centrifugally cast and CNC-finished.
Head Bushing — Lead bronze. Fits inside the head bore. Supports the mainshaft top end.
Socket Liner — Lead bronze. Seats the mainshaft ball. Wear surface against the socket.
Adjustment & clamping
Adjustment Ring — Threaded ring. Rotates to change the closed-side setting. Controlled by the hydraulic system. Sets the gap between mantle and bowl liner.
Clamp Ring — Steel ring. Bolts the bowl liner to the adjustment ring. Holds the liner in position during crushing.
Hydraulic system
Omnicone crushers use a fingertip hydraulic control console. Operators adjust CSS under load from a remote panel — no need to approach the crusher.
Double-acting release cylinders serve two functions: they clamp the adjustment ring during normal operation, and act as hydraulic jacks to lift the adjustment ring, bowl, and hopper for cavity clearing. A full jam-clearing cycle takes under 15 minutes.
Mainframe Pin — Aligns the adjustment ring to the mainframe. Replaceable wear item.
