Spider assembly

Spider — Structural support. Houses the mainshaft. Includes spider hub liner.

Spider Cap — Seals the top of the spider. Prevents dust ingress.

Spider Rim Liner — Mn steel. Protects the spider rim from wear.

Spider Arm Liner — Mn steel. Protects the spider arms.

Spherical Bearing — Allows mainshaft rotation. Accommodates misalignment.

Topshell & crushing chamber

Upper/Lower Topshell — Cast steel. Houses the crushing chamber. Supports concave liners.

Concave Support Ring — Steel. Holds the concave segments in place.

Concave — Mn steel. Stationary crushing surface. Multi-segment ring.

Mainshaft & mantle

Mainshaft — Forged alloy steel. Central rotating component.

Mainshaft Sleeve — Steel. Protects the mainshaft from wear.

Head Nut — Secures the mantle. Torque to spec.

Mantle — Mn13Cr2, Mn18Cr2, Mn21Cr2, Mn21Cr2Mo. The moving crushing surface.

Bottomshell & eccentric

Bottomshell — Cast steel. Lower mainframe. Houses the eccentric.

Bottomshell Bushing — Bronze. Supports eccentric rotation.

Eccentric Assembly — Includes eccentric support plate, eccentric bushing, and eccentric wearing plate.

Drive system

Gear & Pinion Set — Spiral bevel. Transmits power to the eccentric.

Pinionshaft — Alloy steel. Keyed for drive coupling.

Pinionshaft Housing — Cast iron. Houses the pinionshaft.

Bearing Cover — Protects pinionshaft bearings.

Hydraulic & adjustment

Adjustment Ring — Controls CSS.

Hydroset Cylinder & Cover — Hydraulic mainshaft positioning.

Hydroset Piston — Supports the mainshaft. Moves under hydraulic pressure.

Retainer / Retaining Ring — Secures components.

Narrow Arm Liner — Protects narrow arms.

Pinionshaft Arm Liner — Protects pinionshaft arms.
